Sultry, unique, and fun describes the atmosphere created by singer Madeline Morgan’s voice: a blending of nostalgia and hope with classic jazz. Join us on Sunday, May 15th for two shows in the Beverly Arts Center’s Wilcanic Lab Theatre for Madeline Sings Sassy: A Tribute to Sarah Vaughan, a co-production with Chicago Cabaret Week. Known to Chicago audiences for her performances at Davenport’s Piano Bar (in her solo shows Opportunity Knocks and Strut Your Stuff) and at the 2012 Green Festival, Madeline will dazzle audiences with her interpretations of some of Vaughan’s best-known songs.
