About the Film
THE VOICE THAT ROCKED AMERICA® is a one-hour documentary about Top 40 radio personality Hall of Fame Radio Disc Jockey-Dick Biondi. Dick’s connection with audiences endured for six decades, and the bands he promoted have never forgotten his generosity. His story is told through archival photos and footage, re-creations, and interviews with recording artists, broadcasters, fans, friends and Dick Biondi himself. The film is narrated by Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice, whose life changed when she met her teenage idol.
This BACinema Fundraiser will feature a 6:00pm refreshments & Cash Bar in the Atrium at 6:00pm. At 7:00pm there will be live music with the Fab-Tones followed by remarks by DJ Scott Childers. There will be a full screening of the film at 7:30pm followed by a Q&A with Director, Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice.
50% of the proceeds go towards the funding of the film and 50% go towards the BACinema program at the Beverly Arts Center.
