Summer Show Camp
The Beverly Arts Center is proud to announce BAC Summer Show Camp, beginning June 2023! This full-day camp will provide a unique, elevated arts experience for students in rising grades Kindergarten through 8th. Students will work with arts professionals to create two productions while still enjoying the traditional arts and crafts, playtime,and teaching artist workshops that former campers know and love.
Summer Show Camp
will be split into two sessions:
ACT 1 : June 12 – June 30 | $900
ACT ONE
Pricing for Act One includes admission to the three-week full day camp, two tickets for the Act One Revue performance, and a camp t-shirt! The Act One Revue will take place at 2:30 on June 30th.
Intermission begins on Monday, July 3rd and ends on Friday, July 7th. No programming will take place this week.
ACT 2: July 10 – August 11 | $1,500
ACT TWO
Pricing for Act Two includes admission to the five-week full day camp, two tickets for the Act Two Musical,
and a camp t-shirt!
Age Groups
Students will be assigned an age group based on the grades they are entering for the 2023-2024 school year.
Group 1 (Red): K-1 (Age 5)*
Group 2 (Orange): 1 (Age 6)*
Group 3 (Yellow): 2-3 (Ages 7-8)
Group 4 (Purple): 4-5 (Ages 9-10)
Group 5 (Blue): 6-7 (Ages 11-12)
*Due to larger enrollment in these grades multiple groups will be formed as needed

Summer Show Camp FAQ
Anyone participating in Act One must be enrolled by Friday, June 16.
Anyone participating in Act Two must be enrolled by Friday, July 14.
We do not pro-rate on a daily basis, weekly enrollment is required.

If the child is turning 5 or 13 between June and August, they are automatically allowed to register. If the child is outside of those age parameters, then it will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
We will not be offering pre-camp or after-care this summer.
Morning drop-off will take place in the west parking lot from 8:30 am – 9:00 am.
Because of staffing, campers may not be dropped off prior to 8:30am.
Afternoon pick-up will take place in the west parking from 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm.
*A fee may be assessed in instances where students are picked-up later than 4pm
- A full water bottle,
- a bagged lunch (lunches will not be refrigerated),
- sunscreen,
- scripts and other materials passed out at camp.
The BAC is a nut-free zone.
Children will be moving and dancing as part of the camp experience, and should wear non-restrictive clothing. Campers must wear hard-soled, close-toed shoes. (no Crocs). A change of clothes is recommended.
Siblings can enjoy special discounts when registering for camp together. For the first additional camper, there is a 5% discount, and for each after that, there is a 10% discount. Family members can take advantage of these savings to ensure everyone gets the most out of their summer experience. Anybody interested in this discount must contact the Box Office/Front Desk directly.
Camp is from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Act One is a three-week session and will end with a musical revue performance (similar to a variety show or a cabaret). Students will wear their camp tshirts as costumes and work together with their teaching artists on unique pieces to perform.
Act Two is a five-week session and will end with a fully produced junior musical performance. Students will audition and be cast in the show by a team of theatrical professionals. Rehearsals will take place in the afternoons. The show will be costumed and performed in the Baffes Theater.
This camp features exciting arts classes from all disciplines. Students will take arts classes of all kinds in the mornings and then rehearse for either the revue or the musical in the afternoon. Both sessions of camp will end in an invited, ticketed performance.
